How this hours calculator works
- Enter In and Out for each day (24-hour or browser time picker).
- Put unpaid lunch / break minutes in the Break column (e.g. 30 or 60).
- Use In 2 / Out 2 for a second segment the same day.
- Overnight shifts are supported (out time earlier than in time crosses midnight).
- Optional: set weekly OT threshold, daily OT, rounding, and hourly rate for an estimate.
Why track lunch separately?
Unpaid meal breaks should not count toward worked hours. This hours calculator subtracts break minutes from each day’s total so your timecard with lunch stays accurate before overtime math.
